I love this factor.
It is so good to get faraway from the skinny walled turkey fryer fashion pots.
Heavy partitions, great valve and clear thermometer.
I am the use of this with a Bayou Classic SP10 High-Pressure Outdoor Gas Cooker.
The handles get scorching from the cooker so have pot holders prepared if you may presumably like to move it.
unless you already personal some, purchase some greater channel locks to place the thermometer and ball valve on.
Even with Teflon tape I get a bit of of leaking round my ball valve, simply needed to REALLY torque down on it to tighten it.
This simplest came about at high warmth.

This is a giant development. The temperature keep an eye on and accuracy is very good. The valve is no lengthyer most effective helpful however can be an ideal security improvement (boiling drinks...). And the scale is very important for all grain brewing of a 5+ gallon fermentation wort.
The high quality of construction is very good, with the mass being very temp stabilizing and the handles being very smartly built.
Reviews for eight Gal Beer Brewing Kettle w/ Valve & Thermometer My son is a home-brewer, and he recently graduated from the use of everyday kitchen gear to having some dedicated tools for brewing.
The kettle is huge and heavy gauge steel, with cutouts for the valve and thermometer. The prime fits tightly, and general, it can be easy to scrub and use. The thermometer appears excessively correct, even if it was once a bit of challenging to assemble it tightly sufficient to prevent leaks. Same for the valve unit. My answer was once to wrap both in an additional layer of Teflon tape, and then to tighten using a pair of enormous wrenches. Took a couple of tries, however in the end we managed to get a leak-proof seal.
Compared to a selection of the different devoted brew kettles, this one also seems like somewhat a bargain.
Recommended.
